    Also known as disulfiram, this drug Antabuse is used to treat alcohol addiction. It works by blocking the enzyme responsible for alcohol metabolism therefore producing a very unpleasant side effect when it meets alcohol in the body. Those suffering from chronic alcoholism can use this drug to help keep them from drinking due to the side effect it produces.
